Mary King MBE

Mary is an event rider that really needs no introduction! A true legend of the sport.

A 6 time Olympian, 3 times medallist, she has represented Great Britain at Olympic Games spanning 20 years from 1992 to 2021. Multiple gold medals at World and European Championships and wins at 5* level. Twice winning Badminton with King William and Star Appeal, winning Burghley with Star Appeal and placing first and second at Kentucky with Kings Temptress and Fernhill Urco respectively.

With an exciting string of homebred horses for the 2021 season, we can’t wait to see Mary out competing again. We are delighted to be welcoming Mary to the Burlybed Team
